Stress on deworming

A day long orientation programme aimed at equipping the nodal teachers on sucessfull implementation of Nation Deworming Day(second phase) in 2017 was held on August 8 last at Conference Hall of Mazbat Revenue Circle Office in Udalguri district.The programme was well anchored by Mazbat Circle Officer, Pankaj Chamuah. While Dr. Ramkesh Prasad, MD, (IRMS) attended the programme as a resource person.

Speaking on the ocassion Charan Boro MLA Mazbat LAC has requested the participants of the training to work hand-in-hand for successful implementation of such noble programme.

While addressing the technical session Dr. Ramkesh Prasad, (MD) had an interactive session with the trainees. The participants have put their queries & doubts which they generally face during implementation of programme like NDD and all the queries & doubts were clarified by him.

Mouchumi Kalita, DCM, Udalguri addressed the operational parts of the training including reporting.

BEEO, Mazbat has also attended the programme and requested the nodal teachers to cooperate with the health department to make the NDD' 17 programme a successful one. A good number of participants turned up for the orientation programme which will be helpful  for health workers in National Deworming Day implementation.

In the meeting deworming drugs (Albendazole tablets) were also distributed to the nodal teachers as per their enrolled targets. The reporting formats were also distributed to the participants.

The silver jubilee session of Udalguri district ‘Bathou Mahasabha’ is going to be held at Harisinga from February 6 to 9, 2016. Students of Arunodoi Academy Tangla celebrated Children's day in a special way. The students under the guidance of Principal of the academy Napolean Daimari distributed food packets among the patients of Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha Hospital, Tangla.
