One held with grenades at Mazbat

In a joint operation,Udalguri police and 210 Cobra BN apprehended one Anowar Hussain and recovered two Chinese made grenades from his possession at Mazbat in Udalguri district today on August 9.

The two grenades were found hidden in his house.The apprehension and recovery of grenades has been significant in view of the ensuing Independent Day celebration in the district.

Udalguri police,Army and SSB apprehended two hardcore NDFB (S) cadre on Thuesday, namely -Jyotish Daimari (34),son of Hebol Daimari of village Badagaon, Udalguri and Bokul Ramchiari,son of Pina Ram Ramchiari of village Boguliguri of Baksa district near Rowta.Two pistols and six rounds of live ammunitions were also recovered from their possession.
