SIMS doctor to conduct media OPD clinic

Dr Vijay Sankaran (neurosurgeon) from SIMS Chennai Hospital will attend tomorrow’s (5 August) evening OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club. The camp will begin at 2.30 pm and conclude by 4.30 pm. The last camp, organized under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs at the press club was graced by Dr Udayan Saikia from Dispur Hospitals on 29 July. Over 30 media persons along with their dependents participated in the camp. The participants also got their weight, blood pressure & sugar checked in the camp.

The next Saturday evening OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club will be conducted by Dr Samarjyoti Bora, a practicing urologist from GNRC Hospitals, Guwahati. The camp, open for GPC member-journalists along with their dependants, will begin at 4 pm (of 3 June) and continue till 6 pm. Besides free heath related consultations, the participants will also get the opportunity to check their blood pressure in the camp.
