Bongeet workshop at Tangla from July 28

Sanskritik Mahasabha, Assam, Udalguri district samiti and Tangla anchalik samiti will organize a three day Bongeet workshop at Tangla Girls HSS from July 28 to 30 in association with Yuva Tirtha, Guwahati.The workshop will be held on the creations of Assam legends Bon Konwar Anandi Ram Barua,Luit Konwar Rudra Barua and Geeti Kabi Parbati Prasad Barua.The concluding session will be held on August 4 on the occasion of 48th death anniversary of Bon Konwar Anandi Ram Barua.Dr.Hari Ram Das,president, Sanskritik Mahasabha,Assam,Udalguri district samiti will inaugurate the opening of the workshop on July 28 at 10 am and DN Hazarika,ADC,Udalguri cum SDO (civil), Bhergaon sub-division will attend as the chief guest.On August 4,Sankar Das,president,Sanskritik Mahasabha, Assam will attend the concluding ceremony as the chief guest while Swapnanil Barua,son of Luit Konwar Rudra Barua and former commissioner and secretary,department of culture etc, Assam will attend as distinguished guest on the occasion of 48th death anniversary of Bon Konwar Anandi Ram Barua to be celebrated at Tangla.
