Indo-Bangladesh cultural meet in Kokrajhar
An Indo-
Bangladesh cultural meet 2017 was held at Bodofa cultural complex in Kokrajhar on Monday.
Hagrama Mohilary, BTC
chief inaugurated the meet in the presence of viewers from various parts of the region . The meet was organized by Byatikram Masdo in association with Bodoland Territorial Council.
A cultural showcase of Bodos, apart from
Bangladesh was organized which had created amusement among viewers.
Mohilary, in his speech said that the meet will highlight integrity among all sections of communities in both
India and
Bangladesh countries. He has lauded the meet which will be bringing peace and unity.

KOKRAJHAR: Former three-time MLA from Mazbat constituency and senior BPF leader Karendra Basumatary formally joined the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) at party office in Udalguri district on Wednesday.
Basumatary, who was also former president of All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) and ex chairman of Bodo People's Action Committee(BPAC) has extending support to the implementation of recent signed BTR(Bodoland Territorial Region) joined the UPPL party ahead the general elections of the BTC.
