ABSU Expresses Concern Over Question Paper Leak During HSLC Final Exams

The ongoing High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) final examinations in the state of Assam have been marred by a serious concern over the leakage of question papers. The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has expressed its strong resentment over the issue, especially in light of the English subject question paper that was leaked on March 6th.

In a press statement issued on Thursday, ABSU's Assistant General Secretary and Education Secretary, Dinesh Brahma and Swmaosar Basumatary, condemned the irresponsible and unfair conduct of those responsible for conducting the exams. They expressed their concern that the Mathematics subject question paper was widely circulated on social media just after the exam started on March 6th.

ABSU has always propagated quality education and discouraged the use of unfair means by students during examinations. The Union demanded that the Government of Assam take stern action against those involved in this dishonest practice to ensure a fair and smooth conduct of examinations for all the students in the state.

The student union also appealed to all students to appear for the remaining examinations without using any unfair means. They requested the responsible invigilators and examiners to conduct the exams imposing strict discipline and fair methods. This incident has raised concerns over the integrity of the examination system and the need for stricter measures to prevent such malpractices in the future.
