Higher officials of the Nagaon district administration as well as top police officers and CRPF personnel were seen busy on the spot to persuade the protesters to withdraw the blockade.

Later, the organization  submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister of Assam  Sarbananda Sonowal  alleging an illegal money deal, in selection of AIIMS location, between state and central government  through ADC, Nagaon , Jayanta Bora.  The  AIIMS  demand committee also demanded a CBI inquiry of the same.
