Eye check up in Garobasti on May 27

The Udalguri chapter of Lions Club is going to hold a  free eye check up at Green Sight Valley, Amgashi, Garobasti near Indo-Bhutan border in Udalguri district on May 27 next. This was informed by Phanidhar Ojah, secretary of Udalguri chapter of Lions Club. He informed that the programme under the Lions’ Club will be organized by Fagun Tourism in collaboration with Guwahati Lions’ Eye hospital where the experts from the hospital would conduct a daylong free eye check up.

It is to be noted that the Udalguri chapter of Lions Club had already conducted two such free eye camps this year at Rowta chariali and Hatigorh TE region on March 9 and April 19 last and the BPL patients with serious cataract problems were successfully operated by reputed surgeons of state capital.
