Bodos condole loss of leader
A pall of gloom descends in Kokrajhar and it's adjoining BTAD districts when noted Bodo leader Someswar Brahma died after a massive cardiac arrest at hospital in Siliguri on Friday night. He was 70.
Hundreds of people rushed to his house at Baragari villages when the news of his demise spread like wild fire across the BTAD areas in the evening. The funeral is slated for Wednesday evening as more and more people are pouring in pay their last respect to the noted Boro personality.
The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) deeply condoled his death and called Brahma the beloved elder of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma,former president of ABSU.
‘This is a great loss for the Bodos and generation to miss the closest member of the Bodos being the elder brother of Bodofa. The ABSU will remember him in days as the part of great family member of legendary Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma,” ABSU said in a statement.
Former Rajya Sabha MP Urkhao Gwra Brahma apart from many organisations are shocked at the untimely death of Brahma.

KOKRAJHAR: Union minister of state for Home affairs JK Reddy has made his maiden visit at Darranga along the India-Bhutan border area in Assam's Baksa district on Sunday.
