SAI women beat Bhutan FC

KOKRAJHAR: Sports authority of India(SAI), Kokrajhar women football club defeated Bhutan women football club 8-0 in the Indo-Bhutan women's friendly football match being organized here at Banargaon rural mini stadium in Kokrajhar district on Saturday.
In the friendly football match,SAI Kokrajhar team took the lead in first and second half against the Bhutan women football club and defeated the Bhutan team in 8-0 goals.Bhutan team presented attractive sporting amusements and received laudable moments among the thronging football lovers in the region.
The friendly women's football match was organized to make deepen of the good relationship and co-operation in between India and Bhutan country in near future,w which was organized by Jaiklong sports club,Banargaon.
Yomnam Kamala Devi of SAI was adjusted best player in the match.
Noted social activist, Kokrajhar Jyotika Brahma kicked start the football match in the presence of the large thronging of the friendly match.
The women's football match was organized with the coinciding the ongoing 1st Kamaleswar Basumatary and Charu Bala Basumatary football running trophy -2019.
Each of team members both from Bhutan and India was offered warm welcome and felicitation before kick start of the match.
Winning team SAI was given away a trophy and runners up team was awarded a trophy on the occasion.
Mentioned be that final match of the football trophy will be held on Monday.
Championship would be awarded a trophy and cash INR.30,000 and runners up to be awarded a trophy and cash INR.20,000 respectively.
Barhoongkha AC,Kokrajhar is taking on Jothai sports club,Gendrabill in the final match.
Peoples from all walks of life have expressed their excitement having opportunity to witness the women football friendly match at Banargaon as Bhutan team gathered attractive sports environment,said football lovers.
Brahma has appreciated the organisers for organising the football events which was especially for women.She said that women are coming forward towards uplift in the field of sports,education etc.She has urgedupon the women community to dedicate more in their career building as well social integration development in near future.
She has expressed serious concern over the increasing of atrocities,crimes on women,girl children among society and urged the society to stand united against the anti-social incidents.
