Wild elephant kills woman in Kokrajhar
An woman was killed by wild elephant at Doulguri Lungsung area under Bishmuri police outpost in Kokrajhar late last night.
The victim was identified as Pili Kisku(19) wife of Bishnu Hasda of Doulguri Lungsung along Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district. Bishnu told that an wild elephant reached their house by around 11 pm late last night and trampled to death his wife on the spot.Wild elephant some time visits at their village and attacked the villagers,he said.
Body of Pili was brought to Kokrajhar Police Station this afternoon for PM. A villager also said that wild elephant comes in the village and disturbing the citizens from nearby forest area.
