Teacher, staff and the students of St. John's Higher Secondary School, Barama of Baksa district, welcomed Rev.Fr.Selvaraj Ignatius,new principal of the school at a function held at school with trdaitional Aronai and boukey on Tuesday.
Fr. Selvaraj Ignatius,assumes as 6th principal of the school on Tuesday. Before joining at St. John's, he was serving as the principal of Missionary School at Magurmari of Kokrajhar district.
Fr. Selvaraj, a priest of catholic order of the Diocese of Bongaigoan hailed from Tamilnadu state, has been serving in Bodoland area of Assam for the last 12 years. Mentioned be that the Barama Parish Catholic Parents Committee and Barama Catholic Parish Council also welcomed the new parish priest on October 8 last.
