Kokrajhar, Sep 16:Daloabari Tea Estate defeated Amguri ex-Tea Garden 1-0 to lift CM's Inter Tea Garden football championship for Kokrajhar zonal in today's final match being played at Magurmari Jilimili club ground in Kokrajhar district. Jastina Dhanowar netted his lone goal against Amguri in 42 minutes in second half which led the team to win 1-0 goal in the zonal football championship.
Jastina Dhanowar was awarded a trophy and cash 5000 as best player in the zonal championship. BTC executive member Rajib Brahma attending as chief guest handed over trophy and cash 7,000 to championship team.Rabiram Narzary, Kokrajhar west MLA gave away runners up trophy and cash 5,000 to runners up team. Kokrajhar, May 2: A search operation that began yesterday evening concluded today with the recovery of three bodies from the Beki River near Manas National Park in Baksa district.
The three youths, identified as Deep Saha, Raj Saha, and Abhijit Karmakar, all from Barpeta Road, reportedly went missing after entering the river for a swim on Wednesday evening. Local sources informed that authorities, including the police, SDRF, and local residents, launched a search operation late Wednesday night.
