Steps to save Majuli

Dispur is finetuning a slew of measures to protect Majuli from the verge of collapse. These measures dominated a cabinet meeting which took place at Gorhmurh in the river island on Thursday morning.

All cabinet ministers who were present in the meeting categorically stressed both long and short term measures to save the river island from flood and erosion.
