Career Counselling Programme at Godwins School
Godwins School in association with Lions Club of Guwahati Kamrupa has organised a career counseling programme at its campus at Sarusajai on 31st August. This programme has been organised under project theme ‘youth under centennial service ‘by Lions Club. The inaugural speech was presented by Lion Ravi Bhati, President of Lions Club of Guwahati Kamrupa . The main focus of the career counseling programme was on Chartered Accountancy. CA Bijay Agarawal was the resource person and he mentioned about Chartered Accountant course and its scope. He had mentioned that it is one of the toughest courses in the country which lucrative and rewarding too. One needs to have patience and discipline if s/he wants to complete the CA course which can be enrolled by student from any stream after appearing in senior secondary courses. After the presentation there was discussion with students who had asked him various questions. Career counseling on CA course was attended by Mrs. Chandrajini Singha, Founder Principal cum Secretary of the School Management, Lion Ravi Bhati, President, Lion Prem Chand Agarwal, Treasurer Lion Kamlesh Sharma, Programme Chairman from Lions Club of Guwahati Kamrupa. Balraj Singha, Principal of Godwins School ended the programme with thanking the resource person and other organizers. The programme was attended by students and faculties of the school. Godwins School has been conducting career awareness programme for the benefit of the students on regular basis.

The Closing Ceremony of the Annual Athletics Meet of Sainik School Goalpara ( SSG) for the session 2016-17 was held on 23 Dec 16 at the school athletics ground. The event commenced with the finals of 800m, 100m, 400m, 4x100m relay and 4x 400 m relay.
