A home guard jawan of Serfanguri PS was died at Serfanguri national highway early this morning due to hit by a boiler carrying vehicle in Kokrajhar district.
According to eye witness, a home guard jawan identified as Karji Brahma,34-years-old of Jharaguri of Gossaigaon sub-division was hit by a vehicle this around 5am when he was morning walk along the National Highway at Serfanguri, vehicle fled the spot hitting home guard jawan. He was immediately rushed to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital, but doctors declared brought dead. He was engaged home guard at Serfanguri PS.
