Bodoland Students Union burnt effigy of Kokrajhar Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania for his alleged communal statement at Parliament regarding Balajan Tinali bazar terror attack on August 5 last in Kokrajhar district.

8 alleging that BTC region has been facing several situations like communal tension since 1990 and it was also tried to create communal problem in the region.
Students union strongly slammed MP Sarania for his anti integration remarks on BTC area.Students union warns Sarania not to keep more such derogative comment and asked to avoid such immature remarks on the situation.
Swgwmshar Basumatary, president of the students union condemned Saranias' remarks on firing in Kokrajhar.He has alleged that Sarania have no any input about incident which caused innocent people in the area.Sarania being people's representative in the Parliament does not have proper documentation, Basumatary said.

A 16 year old girl died and two others received serious injuries of a family at a remote village due to thunderstruck in Chirang district. A heavy thunderstorm and rain at around 4.30 in the afternoon which claimed a student of class X student of Bishdowa village, Panbari in Chirang district.
