BJP MLA hurt in accident

BJP MLA Kamalakhya Dev Purkayastha sustained wrest injury at a minor accident at an office in Karimganj on Thursday.
The incident took place at the Karimganj Deputy Commissioner’s office in the morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the MLA slipped as he was coming downstairs after a meeting with the deputy commissioner.
Purkayastha was rushed to the nearest hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
