Road mishap

A person was received serious injury due to road mishap at Joypur area along JD Road under Kokrajhar PS this morning in Kokrajhar district.

The mishap took place at Joypur around 11 am where Ritu Roy,son of Jameswar Roy of Chengmari village received injury following head on collision of a motor cycle and bi-cycle. Ritu was on way to Chengmari from Kokrajhar town when mishap took place. Both motor cycle and bi-cycle met mishap and he hospitalized in the incident.

Ritu was immediately rushed to Kokrajhar RNB Civil Hospital, who received multiple injuries on his head, body and legs.

BPF wins 4 out of 12

  KOKRAJHAR: The Bodoland People's Front's (BPF) elected member's numbers have been reduced to 4 from 12 in the assembly elections across the four districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
