Rabiram, Majendra file nominations
Bodoland Peoples Front(BPF) candidates from Kokrajhar west and Gossaigaon LAC Rabiram Narzary and Majendra Narzary fielded their nominations in the presence party leader and supporters to the Returning Officer of the respective constituencies at Gossaigaon sub-divisional(civil) office in Kokrajhar district today.
The Gossaigaon, headquarter of Gossaigaon sub-division of Kokrajhar district broke into a sea of humanity when thousands of people from irrespective of communities took out a procession with Rabiram Narzary and Majendra Narzary when they filed their nomination papers which was started from Gossaigaon town.
The candidates were accompanied by senior BPF party leaders Sabharam Basumatary,Reoreoa Narzihary,BTC executive member Mrithunjay Narzary went to the SDO (civil) office in Gossaigaon where they filed nomination papers. Supporters with banner,placards shouting slogans in support of both Rabiram and Majendra, the people in the procession claimed that party candidates would be able to win in the constituencies.
Talking to reporters after filing the nomination papers, Rabiram Narzary said, ‘There is no doubt on his winning in the seat where he is contesting. Irrespective of caste,creed,language and communities are supporting to his candidature in the constituency. His last laugh from the constituency is sure in the election as still today, no such candidate or party has been seeing to face in the peoples’ mandate’,Narzary claimed.
He also claimed that winning of party candidates in all 16 contesting seats in BTAD areas are sure and government formation at the Dispur is confirmed alliance with BJP,AGP.
Majendra Narzary,BPF candidate for Gossaigaon LAC expressed his hopeful that he is going score for another five years tenure from his constituency.He also said that peoples from all sections of communities are favouring his candidature,so his is winning is sure,no doubt, Narzary added.

A self styled deputy commander in chief of Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) was killed in an encounter with security forces at Shiljan area in Kokrajhar district today.
