RMC on crack over party supports

Cracks appeared in the Religious Minority Council(RMC),BTC region over the issue of supporting to the Bodoland Peoples Front(BPF) party in the ensuing Assam assembly election.The rift appeared in the council after president Sohrab Khan announced openly that RMC leaves to support the BPF party in the election.

Speaking the reporters on Friday at Kokrajhar Press Club,Rijaul Haque Sarkar,general secretary of the RMC told that the council has not been left the BPF party.We are still with BPF party,who was working all round development and welfare of the region.The reaction come after the Khan addressed the reporters at Kajalgaon in Chirang district on Thursday that RMC announced to leave the ruling party ahead assembly election. Sarkar has denied the statement of Sohrab said that it was his personal view, not of council decision to leave the ruling party in the region.

‘We have no any decision to leave the ruling BPF party at this juncture’,Sarkar adding said that the council still good term with the party and no any decision to step against ruling party. He has accused of that Khan has been maintaining link with Congress to gain his personal benefit that is why he is stating baseless remarks over the RMC in the region.

He has claimed that the RMC has not cracked within organisation,but Khan he hilself making baseless statement to show his personal interest. He also told that the RMC has been scheduled to hold central executive meeting on March 13 at Magurmari in Kokrajhar district and committee would discuss thoroughly over the present situation within organisation. Delegates from ten district committees are participating in the meeting and would discuss on the arisen situation within organisation.The council is likely replace president Khan for his unwanted remarks over supporting political party in the upcoming election.

At least two persons received serious injury and former BTC MCLA Madhav Karki along with his son, somehow safe in separate two road mishaps late last night along the 31(C) National Highway near Bismuri in Kokrajhar district.  According to a injured person, a bike head on collided with a Tata mobile van bearing registration AS16C-0383.
