BMES silver jubilee from Jan 31
Bessie Memorial English School (BMES) of Kokrajhar is all geared up to celebrate its 25th Anniversary with two-day long colourful programme scheduled from January 31.
Located at Balajan Tiniali, Haltugaon,the school since its establishment in 1991, has been rendering a noble service in the upliftment of the educational scenario of Kokrajhar and its adjoining areas.
“I have been a student of this school and have spent about 12 years. I passed out from this school in 2011. A lot memories, both good and bad is attached with this school and I am happy to know that it is going to celebrate its silver jubilee. I will definitely participate in the programme”, said, Dhandev Shah, a former student.
The programme will kick off on January 31 at 2 P.M. with the arrival of members and invited guests. A praise and worship and thanksgiving service will be held from 4-6 P.M. A musical cum entertainment programme too has been lined up in the late evening of the same day to entertain guests and members.
The main programme of February 1 next, will begin with the hoisting of flags in the morning at around 6 A.M. An open session will begin from 9.30 A.M. and would continue up to 4 P.M. The highlight of the day will be the cultural nite which will be participated by the staff, students, alumni, parents and well wishers of the school.
It is worth mentioning that R.S. Borgoyary, Director of Education, BTC, will grace the occasion as chief guest.

The two-day long silver jubilee celebration of Bessie Memorial English School (BMES) of Kokrajhar came to an end on Monday.
