It is created a resented of parent of a class VIII-th student went missing since early  morning on Thursday while going to Kokrajhar town market. 

The student of Reality Public School, Kokrajhar was identified as Biprojit Basumatary, son of Ajit Basumatary of Boro Batarmari (ward no.3) adjacent to main Kokrajhar town, who went Kokrajhar town early this morning around 7 am and since then he did not return home. 

Ajit Basumatary, father told that his family was shocked and become tired when his son has not returned home till this evening.

Ajit expresses shocked on tearful said that his son went missing since morning, who was supposed to be back to his school hostel after puja vacation in Kokrajhar, but unfortunately went missing. He has expressed his suspected that his son might be kidnapped. 

An FIR has been lodged with Kokrajhar GRP in this connection, however the bicycle which was used by the student, recovered from nearby railway station (railway crossing gate) by this evening around 4 pm, Ajit Basumatary said. 

'It is a shocked for parents that a student went missing since morning in the heart town of Kokrajhar and till filling of this report, no any information whereabout of student', Ajit added.

KLO leader killed in Kokrajhar

A self styled deputy commander in chief of Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) was killed in an encounter with security forces at Shiljan area in Kokrajhar district today. He was identified as Dibakar Barman alias Anupal. A pistol, two grenades and live ammunition were recovered from him.  He was Myanmar military trained leader of the militant outfit organization.

Army unit from Red Horns Division in association with Kokrajhar civil administration distributed furniture, school bag,study materials and sports items among students of Jharbari ME school on Wednesday at Jharbari in Kokrajhar district.  The distribution was a noble endeavour to encourage students while promoting education and sports amongst youths in the region.
