Puja festivity grips Golaghat
Sounds of dhakis seem to have gripped the people of Golaghat as the entire district is preparing for the Durga puja from Wednesday. The idols of the goddess Durga are getting finishing touch before being installed in the various pendals.
Puja pendals are joining an undeclared race for decoration with colourful electric lights to pull huge crowd. Six school children sustained injury when a car rammed into the van carrying them in Golaghat on Thursday. The accident took place in the morning at Arengapara.
