Pramila condemns Khattar's beef remark
Former Assam Minister and prominent Bodoland People's Front (BPF) MLA Pramila Rani Brahma strongly reacted Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar's remarks on beef eating as "unfortunate and condemnable".
Brahma, while talking exclusively to Assam Times has termed remarks from a responsible CM of a state of secular country is condemnable and unwanted in today's era. She said that remarks from Khattar was not suited for the citizens of the country as India is a secular nation. She has urged all sections of the communities to maintain peace and unity so that harmony can't be affected in the region. Brahma has also wished the people a happy Durga Puja.

An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
