The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s Golaghat District Sports Association is organizing Under 23 CK Naidu Trophy at the Golaghat Stadium from Saturday. Under 23 Assam team are taking on the Railways in the opening match at 8-30 in the monrning, said GDSA secretary Sanjeev Handique and Cricket Secretary Biswajyoti Barua.

Talking to Assam Times, the organization’s general secretary Sanjib Handique said that two days event is slated to take place at the local swimming pool in Golaghat. He said that at organizing committee has been formed to host the event.
The Golaghat district administration on Tuesday asked the tea garden managements to clear the bonus to the workers by October 5. Deputy Commissioner Anarul Haque on Tuesday issued the order after a meeting with the various tea group owners.
