In a major blow for ULFA chief Paresh Baruah, his chief lieutenant Jeevan Moran has surrendered before Tinsukia police on Tuesday. Moran, who has been shouldering the responsibility of raising fund for ULFA is believed to have surrendered before the police in the wee hours.
“He had lost all contacts with Paresh Baruah for the last couple of months and that his ailment has forced to him to leave the strategic terrain of Taga in Myanmar,” said sources. His surrender is a staggering blow for Paresh Baruah who has been giving vital strength for the ULFA boss for the last seven crucial years.
