BTC-Army football premiere league starts

The BTC-Army goodwill football premier league 2015 has been kicked off at Magurmari ground in Kokrajhar from Sunday. The league for U-19 boys  was jointly organised by BTC administration and Indian Army to create sporting environment among society in the region. 

Hemendra Nath Brahma, president of Assam Football Association and former MLA attended as chief guest in the inauguration ceremony and inaugurated in the presence of the Army officials, BTC executive members and huge spectators. 

In the inaugural match,Parbatjhora Panthers Club defeated Chirang Royals 4-1 goals. 

Dhrubajyoti Brahma of Panthers Club netted his first goal in 13 minutes.Birhang Mushahary of Chirang Royals reduced the goal scoring his first goal in 20 minutes against Panthers Club. Again getting golden penalty kick Dhrubajyoti scored another goal in 24 minutes and Bonjar Brahma scored third goal in 35 minutes which led the club to take 3-1 goals in the first half of the match.

Again, Dhrubajyoti Brahma of Panthers scored fourth goal in 65 minutes of second half and won the the match 4-1 goals in its first league match. 

SM Ismail, Brigadier of the Army told that BTC and Army jointly conducted the league to haunt talent youths in the region as so many sports budding youths are not getting sporting arena in their age in the region. 

Among others, Brigadier H Sahney, BTC executive members Doneswar Goyary, Rajib Brahma were present in the inaugural session.
