Anini wears festive look

Keh Me haa, one of the most important seasonal agricultural festival of the Idu is being celebrated with religious fervor and traditional gaiety at Anini in Dibang Valley District of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.

The festival is related to the first seasonal harvest of crops like paddy and other various edible items. The General KehMe Haa festival promotes unity and goodwill among human beings.

The general Keh Me Haa started in year 1999 at Simare Lower Dibang Valley under the banner of Idu Mishmi Cultural and Literary Society (IMCLS) and Sri Ingore Linggi coined idea of General Keh Me Haa festival. Cultural activities, ritual activities and prize distribution of sports and Games were held on the occasion.
