Adivasi Mahasabha to start from Oct 2
Former Assam minister and MLA Pramila Rani Brahma laid Laikhuta to host 12th Adivasi Mahasabha on October 2 to 4 next at Magurmari High School ground in Kokrajhar on Monday.
Brahma laying the Laikhuta said that the Mahasabha will give a space to discuss on the traditional culture as well as values of community integration of the Adivasis in the state.
The Mahasabha has been organised by AASAA in association with Kokrajhar district unit of the AASAA.
More than 50 thousand peoples and 15 hundred delegates are to be thronged the Mahasabha where several cultural, literary programmes, besides hosting of exhibition will also be organised, told Stephen Lakra, vice president of AASAA.
