After a brief halt, massive waterlogging wreaks havoc in Guwahati disrupting surface communication on Tuesday.
A huge portion of the National Highway has come under the water logging forcing Nagaon-Guwahti buses, trucks and other vehicles to divert the route through Chandrapur area in the outskirt of the city.
Many areas in the city have been flooded following the incessant rains in the afternoon. The worst-hit areas include Lachitnagar, Anil nagar, Nabin nagar, Chandmari and the busy RG Baruah Road.
