A citizen's meeting was held at Bhotgaon bazaar to discuss about social integration and check of anti social activities taken from unknown miscreants in the area of Kokrajhar district today.
The meeting was organised by Bhotgaon bazaar committee in association with Kokrajhar district ABMSU and urged the district administration to take stern step against extortion, kidnapping and anti social activities that are creating resentment among common publics.
The meeting strongly demanded early rescues of a Rakibul Ali, 13 years old, who was still went missing since April last . Guardian of the Ali lodged information to police, yet no any rescued was saw in the area.
The meeting also strongly denied that two persons who were caught yesterday by police at Bilasipara, are not belonged to Bhotgaon area . They are hailed from Duramari area and involved with extortion and anti social activities in the district. The caught were identified as Sahid Ali and Hasan Ali of Duramari and deals in Jewelery and tea stall at Bhotgaon bazaar.
Jaidul Islam, a citizen of greater Bhotgaon said that kidnapping, extortions are happening in the area by unknown miscreants, yet district administration has not been initiating any step to stop incidents. He has demanded early check of extortion and kidnapping situation from the area and arrest involved culprits and create congenial atmosphere among all sections of community to the region.
He also demanded strong security and integrated society to meet healthy and harmony to gain social upliftment in the district.
