Ready for crackdown against ultras

Kokrajhar police are preparing to firmly deal with the militants who have been unleashing a reign of terror in the form of anti social activities in the BTAD district.

Addressing a press conference in Kokrajhar on Wednesday, SP Shyamal Prasad Saikia said that an intensified crackdown against NDFB-S, ULFA (I), Rabha Viper Army (RVA), KLO, Adivasi militants who have been hiding in the district. H

e also disclosed that KLO, RVA militant outfits are trying to make their strength felt in the lower Assam districts.
