Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

GUWAHATI:At least 14 former rebels appeared before a special CBI court to face fast track trial in connection with the serial bombings in 2009 where over 100 people lost their lives. Out of 23, only 14 rebels whom CBI chargrsheeted in the case appeared as the court starts fast tracking of the trial on Monday. Rajan Daimary, the then NDFB chief remained absent from the trial on the day one even after CBI indicted him.
