Why Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is in a haste to join BJP? Political observers are straight in their comments. He is believed to have unofficially joined BJP in the face of two huge scams that put him in dire straights.
Very recently, BJP parliamentary board called him the key suspect in the Louis Berger scam only a month back. A CID enquiry is in progress which will unearth the real story.
The Central Bureau of Investigation probing the chit fund scam has already grilled Dr Sarma on the basis of the purported letter by Saradha chiefSudipto Sen. CBI has yet to file the charge-sheet.

Now that he joined bjp to save himself for all the scams it will be all the more difficult to prove. He is an opportunist and that's what we don't like. It was bjp who was most vocal about his corruption. Why have they accepted him now? Shouldn't Assam produce more leaders? He already has enough: TV channel, newspaper, guest house, stashed cash and what not. We need honest leaders not tainted. You are spreading the propaganda. Bada aya.

The incident took place around 11.30 when Khonsa West MLA and BJP candidate Tirang Aboh accompanied by his personnel assistant and security guards were on a trip. Guwahati: Over 100 people sustained injury and properties worth thousands of crores have been damaged as a ravaging storm lashed 3 Upper Assam districts on Sunday.
The storm ravaged thousands of houses started at 9 in the evening lasted for around 15 minutes leaving a trail of devastation in Jorhat,Sivasagar and Dibrugarh districts.

In yet another mysterious explosion that ripped apart Guwahati on Tuesday 12 people sustained injury putting the security forces in a state of utter confusion and cluelessness.
The explosion took place at around 7.39 in the evening near the state zoo where two SSB soldiers were among the injured who have been undergoing treatment at the GMCH.
