Rain waters are back in Guwahati to wreak havoc in the premier north eastern city on following heavy downpour on Saturday.
Many parts of the city have come under the massive waterlogging in the wee hours when incessant rains lashed the city for two hours in the midnight.
Anil Nagar, Navin Nagar, lachit Nagar, Six Mile areas are worst affected where sirface communications have come to a grinding halt.
The rain waters are refusing to flow into the Brahmaputra through the river Bharalu. Local residents in these affected areas are blaming it all on the GMDA for poor drainage system which is why, the problem persists.
