Sweltering heat waves

There seems to be no respite from sweltering heat that disrupts normal life across the state on Wednesday.
Wednesday morning started at 29 degree Celsius and it the figure has gone up to 35 at 9 in the morning which is expected to touch 38 degree Celsius by the afternoon.
Guwahati is also burning in the sweltering heat waves along with other parts of the state.
Denizens are making beeline near the coconut and watermelon vendors for some sort of respite. Ordinary Guwahatians are off from the roads to escape the heatwave that has been continuing for the last couple of days.
