Achyut Lahkar is 85 years old on Thursday. Various local organizations and individuals in Pathsala area on Thursday greeted the mobile theatre pioneer on his 85th birth day.
AASU, AJYCP, Pathsala town committee felicitated Lahkar at a brief function organized at the Pathsala Press Club on Thursday to mark the occasion.
The Assam government has yet to assist the ailing theatre personality. However, APCC local leader Sailen Kalita also met him on the occasion.
