Girls meet watery grave

Three girls met watery grave when the boat ferrying them capsized on the river Burhi Dihing at Tengakhat on Thursday.

The tragic incident took place in the evening when the boat was ferrying 5 people. Local residents rescued two people while three bodied were fished out one hour after the incident.

9 Assam Workers Killed in Ennore Power Plant Mishap

A devastating accident at the Ennore Thermal Power construction site in Tamil Nadu claimed the lives of nine workers from Assam and nearby regions on Tuesday, after a steel arch collapsed.
