Ray of hopes on HSLC results

Despite regular bandh and strike in Kokrajhar, heart town of BTAD administration, the Bimala Prasad Chaliha Memorial (BPCM) Babyland English medium school, Kokrajhar has scripted 99 percentage passed in today's declared HSLC 2015 with 11 distinction results.The UN Academy, a private managed Bodo medium school has also scripted 98.31 percentage along with three distinctions. 

A total of 96 students passed out of 97 appeared in the examination, of which 76 stood in first division and 20 in second division. 

Twenty students got star marks, 11 recorded distinction, besides 175 letter marks from the school. 

Arkojyoti Majumdar stepped to get highest marks securing 558,Angana Choudhury secured 553 out of 600 along with cent percent marks secued in Mathematics from the school.

In UN Academy, 117 students passed out of 119 appeared students of which 80 stood in first, 36 in second and one in third division, besides 15 got star marks and three distinction marks. 

Hadungwra Narzary scripted highest marks holder securing 87.66 percentage along with letter marks in five subjects. Kingkhor Basumatary and Manaj Ranjan Brahma have also secured 86.16  % and 85.16 % getting letter marks in six subjects respectively from the school.

Krishna Gopal Basumatary,Directr the of the Academy congratulated successful students who come out in the final examinations.

Anup Majumdar, head master of the Babyland school also congratualated students told that the school has scripted 99 percentage in the results declared today scoring huge attractive marks in the school. He said that students faces hardships in the region as several organisation and parties called bandh and strike for their demand and issues. 

He has urged the govt to create congenial atmosphere so that healthy situation prevails inctge region. 

Majumdar said that the school management is trying to meet stand and cent percent results in the school among state.

Security forces have intensified their combing operation against militant outfits in the region.  Three link men/over ground worker of the National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit faction were apprehended by security forces in a joint operation at Ripu Reserve Forest on Sunday morning in Kokrajhar district. A businessman was hospitalized after attacked with sharp weapon by miscreants at Champa bazaar area on Friday evening in Kokrajhar district. An emergency response mock drill was conducted by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Habrubari in Kokrajhar district on Friday,which was a part of offsite emergency mock on the IOCL Guwahati-Siliguri underground pipeline to test the preparedness of its emergency personnel.
