Congress gearing up in BTC

Congress party has been stepped up to strengthening of  its party position in BTC ahead of council election scheduling to be held by April next,as other parties are gearing up to show mass support strength in Kokrajhar.

It is observed that several regional and national political parties including BPF,BJP are organising rally and meeting in the region, the Congress party has too made a massive preparation to hold a grand mass gathering at Dwimalu ground in Kokrajhar on March 18 and several leaders from district and Assam State Pradesh Congress(APCC) are camping in Kokrajhar to over see the arrangements of the gathering which is trying gain more strength than BJP rally on last week at the same point.

The district Congress Committee office at Ranendra Narayan Basumatary Bhawan in Kokrajhar saw busy and new look with painting,coloring and banners,hoarding which is the first grand rally oraganising from Congress party in Kokrajhar after creation of BTAD in Lower Assam.

A consultation meeting in between office bearers of APCC and district Congress committee was held on Sunday at Ranendra Bhawan on the preparation of mass gathering in Kokrajhar and chalk out to organising grand mass gathering where Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Anjan Dutta is scheduling to grace the gathering.

Rupak Sarma,Secretary of APCC today told that the APCC and DCC is organising hrand mass gtahering ahead of council election.He said that APCC leaders including Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is arriving in  Kokrajhar on March 18.He said that APCC took stock of preparation about holding gathering in BTC aheda election.He said that his party was fully prepared to contest council and winning majority in the election was also cent percent clear,he added.

Mazahrul Islam,secretary of Kokrajhar district Congress committee said that Congress party is organising a grand mass gathering to show majority supports ahead of council election which would be the first ever grand mass gathering in Kokrajhar from his party.It is a grand mass gathering of peoples under the banner of Congress in BTAD after long years and party workers have kept alive party spirit.He has claimed that Congress has regained party position in BTAD as peoples are wanting Congress party to meet new administration and ensuing council election will show its positive atmosphere in the region.
