NRHM employees stages dharna

Employees from National Rural Health Mission(NRHM) staged dharna demanding regularization of job,immediate rectification of health services mnitoring system,immediate hikes of salaries 20% to 30% at Rupnath Brahma civil hospital in Kokrajhar today.

The dharna was organised under the banner of NRHM employees association and the agitation will continue till February 16 to put pressure to implement the demands of the employees across the state.

Kajal Nandi president of the Kokrajhar district of the association said that the employees are facing several hardships due to insincerity from health and family welfare department as the association have been demanding to solution of the grievances and problems.He said that association demanded early meet of solve of the crisis face by employees of the NRHM in their discharging of duties and responsibility in their job.He has demanded that government should take bold step to solution's of problems of the employees.

The association demanded group insurance to NRHM employees for medical treatment of family members and one time f death benefit stands on humanitarian ground.They also demanded immediate immediate creation of service rule and financial rule to the NRHM employees through service manual like sarva siksha abhijan nission enjoying.

Kokrajhar DC reviewed the ongoing process of verification of application forms and documents submitted by the public for inclusion in NRC in Chirang district on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner,Chirang Rupak Kumar Mazumdar while presiding over the meeting at Kajalgaon asked all the LRCRs to inform about their progress report of  digitization of NRC forms, verification of particulars and documents.
