Former ISO chairman at MVM Mangaldai

The birth anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was celebrated at MVM Mangaldai recently on January 12 with gaiety. The day was celebrated along with annual school day.Several distinguished people attended the ceremony including USA based scientists and son of Darrang Dr.Atul Sarma.Speaking as the guest of honour of the day, the former ISO (International Standard Organization ) chirman Dr.Sarma recalled his past days here in Assam when he had been working as a chemistry teacher in Cotton college Guwahati fifty years back. According to him scientists are not really big or different people but like a good student. He said that the present day world is full of unrest and never looked good.”Humanity have been changing very fast and its a genetic change. We never know what would happen after five thousand years later “. Saying so he advised all to be a good messenger of mankind.

Paban Sarma Vice president of Sogeti of USA also attended the celebration as the chief guest.In his speech he remarked that Indian education system is bookish while in USA education has been practical. He advised the students to be honest,loyal.discplined and a better human. The celebration was also attended by Kamal Kishor Agarwalla,Guruji of MVM,Mangaldai; Dr.Nagen Sarma, Jiten Singh,Commanding Officer SSB,Dalgaon; Amitav Sarma,Executive Engineer,PWD,Mangaldai; Monowar Hussain,Principal, Kaziranga English Academy,Guwahati; Soma Dey of Sanskriti Junior College, Mangaldai; Jayanta Das,Environmental journalist and R Subba, Principal MVM school Mangaldai.
