Bangla says it will not allow its soil for Indian rebels

Bangladeshi has make it plain that it will not allow any 'inimical' forces to set up their base on its soil and evinced keen interest to exchange exchange of intelligence and information with New Delhi. Speaking at the sidelines of the BSF-BDR meeting in New Delhi Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Chief Major General Shakil Ahmed said there will be timely exchange of information regarding criminal activities near the border so that timely action can be initiated. The BSF figured the issue of rebels operating from Bangladeshi soil after probe into blasts in Uttar Pradesh pointed towards involvement of militant groups like Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islamia. Ahmed said they are aware of the inputs of Indian territory to perpetuate crimes in Bangladesh.” We do try to evolve a system to deal with the criminals as soon as they perpetuate the crime, he said".
