NERSWN foundation day

The North East Research and Social Work Networking (NERSWN), an NGO of Kokrajhar base observes its 10th foundation day with two day long progrmme from Monday at Gwjwn Dera NERSWN Complex, Chnandrapara in Kokrajhar. Deputy Commissioner Themeswar Malakar inaugurated the Children’ Mela where the different types of Science Exhibition, Magic Show, Sports, Literarily and cultural by the student children displayed. Children from different schools of lower Assam participated and displayed their talent in the field of science, arts, Technologies etc.

A Seminar on “Civil Society Space in Promoting peace and Reconciliation in Zone of Conflict” was also organized the seminar was inaugurated by Baska Deputy Commissioner Vinod Seshan. He elaborates about the Promoting peace and Reconciliation in Zone of Conflict. He mentioned his speech that its very necessary steps for all section of people in conflict zone for Promoting peace and Reconciliation     

Pratibha Brahma, Editor of Bibungthi, Bodhi Saikupar Ranee, Associate Professor, TISS, Mumbai, Jennifer Liang, Executive Director the ant, Digambor Narzary Chairperson Nedan Foundation among others spoke.     

Raju Kr. Narzary, Executive Director of NERSWN said that the North East Research and Social Work Networking have completed a journey of one decade by a group of young activities called “BRANSTHU”. One reaching this milestone in the organization cycle of trying to reach out of most marginalized section of society with social Endeavour to promote peace, justice and dignity.
