Sun TV Network Ltd has launchedlaunched an FM Radio Station in Guwahati under the brand 'S FM' through its subsidiary South Asia FM Ltd. The FM station is starting its operations on Tuesday at 93.5 MHz frequency in the city which aims at catering to all audience.
According to the country's second largest television network, it hold licences for 45 FM Radio Stations across the country. With the launch of this FM Station, the total operational FM Stations of Sun TV has reached 29.
Notably, it has FM Stations at Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Mangalore, Kannur, Allahabad, Jabalpur and Mysore. Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati, Madurai, Tuticorin, Lucknow, Bhopal, Pondicherry, Kozhikode (Calicut).

Assam confirms its third H1N1 virus infection case when a youth in
Dibrugarh tested positive on Tuesday. The patient is Manjot Gogoi, a
resident of Milon Nagar in Dibrugarh who is undergoing treatment at
the Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibruagrh. The confirmation came
from the Regional Medical Research Centre at Lahowal in Dibrugarh.
That too a few hours after an ex army jawan Raj Kumar Sinha tested
positive . Raj Kumar, who hail from Silchar in Assam is an employee
with Reliance in Mumbai. He came to Assam on Sunday and was admitted
at the Army base Hospital in Basistha after he complained of swine flu
symptoms.
