President on 2 days visit to North East

President Pranab Mukherjee is on a two days visit to the North East. Mukherjee landed at the Tezpur airport in the afternoon and straightly left fot Tezpur Central University where he attended the 12 th Convocation ceremony.

Towards the evening, the President will attend a cultural programme where he would receive a copy of the book, Agnikanya Chandraprabha Saikiani at the same varsity auditorium.

On Friday he would attend an army function in the town. Then he would leave for Arunachal Pradesh to attend a varsity function. Mukherjee will leave back to New Delhi in the afternoon.
