ABSU takes out long march

The All Bodo Students Union takes out a 'Long march on Wednesday to change the face of BTAD with peace and development.  Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner  Tajeswar Muktiar opened the awareness journey from Bamwngaon village in Kokrajhar district in the presence of huge public and student activists.

He hoped that the long-march will ensure change in all spheres of life and has lauded ABSU leaders for the steps to building a healthy awareness campaign.

The programme will continue till November 15 with month-long scheduled where over 400 students union activists and publics are participating the march. The long-march team will visit villages for meeting with villagers to discuss on the issues of listening, discussion and working among society.

ABSU president Promod Boro said that they have undertaken the march following the vision of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma to build a violence-free and unbiased greater society in the state.

ABSU general secretary Romeo P Narzary, assistant general secretary Somnath Narzary, Kokrajhar ABSU leader Lawrence Islary also participated in the march.
