Saradha scam: CBI gets stunning facts

Singer and film maker Sadananda Gogoi is learnt to have made stunning revelations before CBI in connection with the multi crore Saradha scam.

Sources say that Gogoi whom CBI interrogated at Kolkata office for the last two days enough lead to implicate a sitting Congress MLA. The former minister allegedly took no less than Rs 3 crore from through cash and vouchers from 2011 to 2013.

But the CBI team probing the dirty deal believe that the amount could be substantially higher which would come to light during the interrogation. They are in the process to summon the MLA to the Kolkata office for interrogation.

In the preliminary stage, Gogoi was questioned on his receipt of Rs 4 lakh from Saradha for a commercial film on behalf of the chit-fund group. He was questioned in presence of a Guwahati based businessman Rajesh Bajaj whom CBI has been questioning for the last four days.
