ULFA cadre nabbed at Tangla

Army deployed in Udalguri district have nabbed one hard-core ULFA militant at Tangla during evening hours on August 19. Acting on a tip-off the Army troops from Borrengajuli camp launched a joint operation with the police in which a listed ULFA cadre was apprehended.The operation took place near the busy market place of Tangla. The arrested cadre has been identified as Khagen Deka (45).One 7.65 mm revolver and two live ammunition have been recovered from the apprehended militant.
